BHA Traffic Control proudly participated in the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) National Work Zone Awareness Week with a series of educational events and community outreach activities across our operational regions.
Our teams conducted safety demonstrations at local community events, showing the public how MUTCD-compliant traffic control systems work and why they are critical to protecting both road workers and drivers.
We also partnered with local news stations and social media to broadcast public service announcements reminding drivers to slow down, move over, and stay alert in work zones. According to FHWA data, approximately 700 people are killed in U.S. work zones each year.
BHA Traffic Control will continue to invest in public education as part of our broader commitment to road safety for all Americans.
