BHA Traffic Control is proud to announce that 75 of our employees have successfully completed the Advanced Work Zone Traffic Control (AWZTC) certification through the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA). This intensive training covers advanced techniques in traffic management, emergency procedures, and the latest MUTCD standards for work zone safety.

The certification program, conducted over four weeks, included classroom instruction, hands-on practical exercises, and written examinations. Participants covered topics including:

• Advanced flagging techniques and multi-flagger coordination
• Traffic Control Plan interpretation and implementation
• OSHA emergency response procedures
• Night-time and adverse-weather work zone management
• Equipment operation, inspection, and maintenance
